 CHAPTER 15
Some Final Thoughts By Michael
I am finishing this last chapter on a cold winter’s day in the third week of March. It just so happens that the winter of 2024 was remarkably mild—except for this wallop of snow we just got. Two weeks ago, we hit 18 degrees Celsius. It felt like summer, and then—WHAM! Back to the reality of winter. There’s a metaphor for this crazy up-and-down of temperatures. The weather, just like life, can be pretty unpredictable.
I view books as catalysts to start conversations—they are vessels that can transport you to entirely new states of mental and physical being. As you know from the introduction, my goal with this book is to prevent just one per- son from making a tragic mistake with their life and finances.
Beyond this, I feel that this book may be helpful to those folks like me who don’t fit in anywhere. Visionaries see the world vastly differently than most. Sure, we can see the future, but the truth is that we see potential where most don’t. We effortlessly connect. Visionaries are deeply passionate about affect- ing positive change to the point of obsession. It’s both a blessing and a curse.
Our problem stems from not everyone being on the same page as us. We’re viewing the landscape from 30,000 feet, while most people are content with both feet on the ground. It’s not that we are averse to working — far from it.
