WARNING — this is not a typical business book. I wonder if it should even be classified as a business book. This book is aimed at those who want to start a small business. It’s also aimed at those struggling in high school trying to figure out a path. While we’re at it, it can also help those trying to find a direction in their lives after high school, college, or their last job.
It’s also for those folks like me who never seemed to fit in the world of 9 to 5. I love thinking about the future, and yes, I’ll admit it: I am a visionary and entrepreneur, but I find myself drawn to the former at the expense of the latter. I don’t care what stage you’re at. If you’re reading this book, I thank you.
The roots of this book lie with one specific message: KNOW YOURSELF FIRST.
Before you start anything, write down any goals, or begin a quest, you must KNOW YOURSELF FIRST. I wish I’d read this book when I was 18. Or 30 or 50. But that’s not possible because I am turning 60 this year. There are a few reasons that you should KNOW YOURSELF FIRST.
