APPENDIX 2
Because my propensity is to be right-handed it won’t matter how much learning or energy I apply using a set of left-handed clubs; I will never achieve the same level of success with those left-handed clubs as I would by applying the same level of learning or energy to a set of right handed clubs.
Another Example: Perhaps you have noticed that some people want to know all the details and or context of something before they move ahead and others just want you to get to the bottom line.
Those behaviours can also be described as propensities. They are generally considered to be innate, natural, or instinctive.

Once our instinctive propensities kick in then the Will starts to engage.
Will is where we evaluate our wants and needs and their importance to us. It is where we explore the will I / won’t I nexus.
Here we explore the notion to intend, attempt or commit to move forward. It is common for a reevaluation or recycling through our beliefs and sub-
sequent needs and wants before a commitment to move forward is made.
